Travel Man Today is more than just a travel news website—it is the result of a lifelong passion for travel, built on real experiences rather than desk research.
Founder Aaseem Bhardwaj’s journey as a traveler began while working in Dubai. During long workweeks and weekends spent alone, he started exploring the UAE on his days off. This was long before smartphones, Google Maps, or travel apps became part of everyday life. Armed with nothing more than a printed tourist map, a bottle of water, some local currency, and a spirit of curiosity, he set out to discover new places.
Those solo trips across the UAE gradually became a way of life. Traveling alone taught him independence, confidence, and the joy of discovering destinations at his own pace. What started as a way to spend weekends soon became a lifelong passion for travel and cultural exploration.
Professionally, Aaseem began his career as a television journalist with Doordarshan News, before moving into advertising and client services. Later, an opportunity to work in Dubai in sales introduced him to international travel and strengthened his interest in exploring the world. After returning to India, he transitioned into the IT industry, where he has spent more than two decades working as an IT Program Manager while continuing to travel extensively.
Over the years, he has visited numerous destinations across Southeast Asia, East Asia, the Middle East, and Europe, gaining firsthand experience with visa applications, immigration procedures, airports, public transport systems, hotels, and local cultures.
That combination of journalism, technology, and real-world travel experience eventually led to the creation of Travel Man Today—a platform dedicated to providing accurate, practical, and trustworthy travel information specifically for Indian passport holders.
